Created in the same vein as the popular “South Beach” Nike LeBron 8 from 2010 that honored the city of Miami, the “Los Angeles By Night” overtly references the bright lights of Los Angeles at nighttime. A woven pink fabric forms the base of the upper while a semi-translucent purple heel counter appears on the back of the shoe. A speckled neon green or Volt mudguard spans the heel to the toe. A mini embroidered Volt Swoosh emblem is stitched onto the toe of the shoe. Underfoot, a large visible Air cushioning unit in the heel provides all-day comfort both on and off the court.
