Description
The Nike KD 12 “Aunt Pearl” pulls inspiration from Kevin Durant’s late Aunt Pearl as well as previous “Aunt Pearl” colorways of his signature line. Durant has honored the special bond he shared with his aunt beginning in 2012, with each succeeding version of his signature shoe incorporating an element of its predecessor. The KD 12 is no different, as the pearl graphic on the collar is culled from the KD 4, the midfoot strap from the KD 7, and heel embroidered is loving lifted from the KD 9. Subtle design details, including writing found on the tongue, are a remembrance to Durant’s Aunt Pearl. The Nike KD12 “Aunt Pearl” was released on December 27, 2019.
